After 11 months of work, 1400 pounds of cast glass and 1000 pounds of aluminum, the sculptures were erected and illuminated on November 17. The brief was multifold; Visually unify the campus of the Church Health Center, a clinic for the working poor; extoll the beauty of the 6 Virtues, the philosophical cornerstone of the CHC; memorialize the major donor and patron; provide some area illumination and create some sculptures of lasting beauty for the area residents, patients and staff to enjoy.
Brian and studio assistant Dale pour glass into one of Virtues'36 pieces of glass. It took more than 20 weeks of casting to produce all of the glass.

Brian welding the lower light cylinders. They are made of 1/8" rolled aluminum.
Dale grinding on the aluminum welds of Gentleness.
Truck and trailer loaded with a year's work, headed to the installation.
